Pat Formo Stone

Medium: Stained Glass

Daughter of Jon Formo, teacher, sculptor, potter, glass blower, painter, and Professor of Art at the University of South Carolina and Bettye Formo, seamstress and home decorator.

Litenpike Studios is located in Columbia, South Carolina. (Litenpike is a term that my dad called me when I was a little girl. It is pronounced LEE-tin PEE-kah, and means little girl in Norwegian!) I produce stained glass art and pencil drawings from my studio.

Oh, the joy of stained glass! I have participated in shows in and around Columbia: Carolina Craftsmen Christmas Classic and Spring Shows, galleries in the Vista, River Front Park, Riverwalk Music Festival, Town of Lexington, Jamil Craft Show, September Oaks Vineyards in Ridgeland, SC, Rice Estate, St. Nicholas Festival at the Russian Orthodox Church in West Columbia, and the Keenan House.

Currently, my art is displayed at the South Carolina Artisans Center in Walterboro, SC, Off the Beaten Path in Ridge Spring, SC, and Etched Memory in August, GA. I take commissioned requests, designing the glass to my customer’s specifications. I specialize in making 3-D glass panels.
